Mark your calendars for the 1st Annual Women in National Security Symposium hosted by UNL’s Intelligence Community Scholars. This is a free event for anyone interested in a career in national security. The symposium aims to cultivate leadership skills, highlight the obstacles women in national security face, and offer networking opportunities with national security professionals.
Symposium Schedule (open to public):
1:30-3:30pm: National Security Career Fair (FBI, NSA, etc.)/Heritage Room in the Union
3:30-5:00pm: Professional Panel/Union Auditorium
The panel will feature five career professionals from the Department of Defense, US Senate, and the intelligence community who will talk about their careers and the increasing role women play in the field of national security.
