Dr Leah Ruppanner researches work and family issues with particular focus on the impact of macro-structural gender equality and public policy. Her research is published in a range of top-tier sociology journals and has been featured in Slate, the Guardian and the Age. For this work, Dr. Ruppanner has received grants including the Dyason Fellowship and serves on the board of Advisory Editors for Social Science Research. She is also a Research Fellow at the ARC Centre for Excellence for Children and Families over the Life Course. Dr. Ruppanner’s current research agenda focuses on the impact of differential health and well being outcomes for families across the world.
