For our December Seminar Series event, the RDAR Center is pleased to host a presentation by Kathie Starkweather, a rural sociologist and retired rural nonprofit director, on implicit bias. Starkweather will be providing the seminar’s audience with an understanding of what implicit bias is and how to productively combat it.
The Rural Drug Addiction Research (RDAR) Center fosters a range of projects from the microscopic world of the synapse in human biology to the social and geographical environments in which drug use interventions take place, exploring rural drug addiction from synapse to society.
We will be live streaming and recording the talk. You can register, and receive your unique connection information, for this event by using the following link: https://unl.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_dIP1JAo7TAWOMARqKVj73w
