Hear the stories of startup leaders working in tech who got their start with Venture for America and gain insight into how the Fellowship shaped their entrepreneurial and tech careers.

During this event you will hear from our Fellow guests panelist, Jarui Desai (‘19 San Antonio) & Anne Devlin (‘23 Detroit) about their VFA experience, and working in the tech industry.

Venture For America aims to mobilize the next generation of entrepreneurs and equip them with experience, training, and community to become startup leaders and founders. During the two-year Fellowship, our Fellows are salaried, full-time employees at startups or high-growth companies in one of our 13 cities, with many working in tech roles.

Through the program, Fellows find lifelong friends, an entrepreneurial community, and a network of individuals to help take their career and ambitions to the next level. We’ll walk you through our mission, how Fellows find their job, common roles and industries available to Fellows, plus the programming, community, and resources. We’ll close out with a Q&A with our panelists.

Venture For America Fellows work in a range of roles and industries. In this event, we’ll highlight one of our most common industries for Fellows, which is the tech field, with Fellows working in both technical, and non-technical roles.
