This free 3-part webinar for 8-12th grade teachers and after school program leaders will teach you how to engage your students in learning about the effects of Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) on Nebraska communities and forests. You will receive the nationally recognized Project Learning Tree Focus on Forests curriculum, as well as a kit of supplies (valued at $100) to help you carry out the lessons. The curriculum consists of lessons on how to measure forest and tree health, how forests are managed, forest fires, and invasive species. Your students will then be given the chance to develop a digital resource (infographic, poster, video, etc.) to be distributed by the Nebraska Forest Service.

Additional Public Info:
Everyone must pre-register and attend all three webinars. Space is limited. To register please contact Hanna Pinneo no later than Nov. 7 at hpinneo2@unl.edu or at 402-624-0066.
