Dr. Angela Pannier, associate professor and William E. Brooks Leadership Fellow in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, University of Nebraska–Lincoln will present the seminar “Priming Nonviral Gene Delivery for Stem Cell and Vaccination Applications.”

Angela Pannier’s lab focuses on developing biomaterials for tissue engineering models of development and nonviral gene delivery systems for stem cell, gene therapy, and DNA vaccination applications. Her primary research interest is in using molecular profiling, modeling, and high-throughput techniques to understand the basic biology underlying successful gene delivery and translating that understanding to drug priming strategies that can enhance gene therapies.
