Former Denver Bronco running back, Reggie Rivers, will be the Keynote speaker of the 2018 Hearst Speaker Series on Diversity & Modern Media. The lecture, “The Business of Football: Leadership Lessons from the Gridiron,” will draw upon Rivers experience in sports, communications and leadership. Rivers is a former NFL running back who played six seasons with the Denver Broncos during the 1990s. He is a media personality and business owner who was worked in newspaper, radio and television in Denver. He graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Journalism, and he earned a masters degree in global studies from the University of Denver. He has written five books, the latest is the award winning novel, “The Colony: A Political Tale.”
