Join program leaders Mark Burbach and Jessica Corman for an information session about the upcoming Australia program abroad this winter break!
Spend three weeks in Australia learning about managing some of the world’s most diverse ecosystems. Explore the Great Barrier Reef, rainforests and semi-arid grasslands that provide homes
to spectacular animals like sharks, dolphins, Tasmanian devils, kangaroos, wombats, platypuses, echidnas, and kookaburras in eucalyptus trees. Witness the magnificent scenery of Tasmania’s mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, coastline, and other natural resources that are a boon, not only to the Tasmanian economy through agriculture and tourism, but also to the quality of life of its residents.
Those attending will depart on December 26th, and the return date is set for January 14th. The program will remain open for applications until September 1st. Applicants accepted for the program will be notified on September 6th and will need to pay a nonrefundable deposit (amount to be determined) by September 15th. If any accepted applicants do not pay the nonrefundable deposit the student(s) next on the waitlist will be notified on September 16th, and they will have a short period of time to pay the deposit.
