Bring a lawn chair and shovel and join us to learn about the practical application of conservation practices in the Bow Creek area. Aaron Hird, NRCS Soil Health Specialist, will conduct soils demonstrations, including the rainfall simulator, and walk us through the in-field evaluation sheet. Paul Jasa will provide insight on no-till equipment set-up, and how to turn current equipment into no-till equipment. After lunch we will travel to local fields where UNL educators and local producers will discuss the practical application and economics of implementing conservation practices in the Bow Creek area.
