The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases (NPOD) will host the 11th Annual Spring Retreat on April 17, 2019. The retreat is always a free, day-long event for faculty, postdocs, students, staff, industry partners, and other interested parties offering an opportunity to explore relevant topics and to network with fellow researchers in academia and industry. The speakers this year are internationally recognized experts on the topic of “Childhood Obesity”: Diego V. Bohórquez, Duke University, Deanna M. Hoelscher, University of Texas at Austin, Laura Brown, University of Colorado Denver.
