The first significant feast after Chinese New Year, so called because the most important activity during the night of the event is watching Chinese lanterns illuminate the night sky.

Painted Quilts from the Hopi Mesas is an exhibition of quilts and other objects made by the Hopi people of northeast Arizona. The exhibition opens October 22, 2021 and runs through April 30, 2022.

For members of the Baha’i Faith, this time is meant to reinvigorate the soul and bring one closer to God. This fast takes place immediately before the beginning of the Bahá’í New Year.
