Attorney Kathleen Martinez is the founder and managing attorney of Martinez Immigration. She received her bachelor’s degree from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles and her Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. Attorney Martinez has been practicing law for over 5 years and proudly serves the immigrant community. Her mission is to reunite families easily and effectively.

On this one special night, Attorney Kathleen Martinez will appear in person at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to speak during a 40-minute presentation followed by a 20-minute moderated Q&A. During the presentation and Q&A, she will discuss the evolving role of women in law. Through her story, she hopes to inspire young lawyers, especially women, to overcome the challenges within the realm of law and call for diversity, authenticity, and inclusivity in the legal field.

This event is FREE and open to UNL students, faculty, and staff with an Event Pass. $5.00 for the public (CASH/CARD AT THE DOOR) ARRIVE EARLY. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
