• Tricky Trainers is one of the oldest 4-H clubs in the Douglas/Sarpy 4-H program. We welcome all 4-H members ages 6-18, and their dogs. Please be sure your young child can handle the dog. Dogs do not have to be purebred. (Aggressive dogs or pit bulls are NOT ALLOWED)
• The club meets at Cooper Memorial Farm located at 8602 Mormon Bridge Road, Tuesday nights at 6:30. We will be meeting in the big white barn just as you enter the farm.
• Meeting every Tuesday, (May 16th until mid August).
• Learn how to care for your dog and how to teach your dog obedience.
• Learn Showmanship skills:
o how to groom and handle your dog in the show ring
o learn how to work with your dog together as a team
• Everyone has fun and moves along at their own pace
• Trainers have all grown up in 4-H showing dogs, club leader is Tani Baker.
• Fees are $10 for 4-H membership this must be done online at https://4honline.com/
• Other expenses would include equipment you would need, collars, etc. There are also opportunities to travel to shows.
• Dogs must be up to date on shots required.
