Parents and children ages 5-7 are invited to be a part of the Douglas-Sarpy 4-H Clover Kid Program. The primary goal of Clover Kids is to promote the child’s stages of development - intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. Participants can enroll in the Douglas-Sarpy 4-H program and participate in all the program’s contests, events, and county fair.

2021 dates and programs include:

September 14 – Cooking and measuring
October 5 – Bug out – Entomology presentation and activity
November 9 – Fall Nature activity
December 11 (10 am -12 pm) - New Year’s Celebration at Noon!
The programs (unless otherwise noted) will be held from 6-7 pm at the Douglas-Sarpy Extension office. All events are subject to change if the COVID status of our community changes.

The program is designed to provide 5- to 7-year-olds a variety of educational and recreational experiences in a non-competitive environment. Clover Kids provide an excellent opportunity for youth to achieve his/her highest potential because early life experiences affect future development.

Nebraska Extension Douglas-Sarpy Counties is located at 8015 West Center Road, Omaha. There is no cost to attend, but participants are asked to preregister with Rachel at rwright4@unl.edu.
