Mark your calendar and plan to attend this great annual event, held at the Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln, NE.

Admittance is free, and participants will find one of the largest selections of perennial plants anywhere! Plants, purchased from Bluebird Nursery Inc., are selected for their hardiness in Nebraska and for their past popularity. More than 700 different varieties of plants will be available.

For the 2012 sale, plants range in cost from $3-$10 depending on pot size; with large specimens or rare specialty plants priced slightly higher.

In addition, vendors selling garden art, sculpture, birdhouses and other items will be on hand.

Educational programs will also be offered during the plant sale, and more information about this year’s programs will be available soon, so check the website.
