Time:
On Tuesday, October 23rd from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. there will be a Farmer/Rancher Grant Workshop at the Lancaster County Extension Office at 444 Cherrycreek Road, Suite A in Lincoln NE 68528. We will cover what you need to know about 2012 Farmer/Rancher Grants and Youth Educator Grants.
The Farmer/ Rancher Grants are due November 29th and the Youth Educator Grants are due November 15th.
Loth from Shadowbrook Farms near Denton and Krista Dittman, from Branched Oak Farm near Raymond, previous Farmer/Rancher Grant recipients will be present to explain their experiences with the grant process.
A farmer can receive up to 7,500 for this grant, while two farmers can receive up to $15,000 and a group of 3 or more farmers can receive up to $22,500.
