This Symposium provides research based information on options for cow-calf producers to strategically plan to recovery from drought conditions. Presentations will include Considerations for Limit Feeding Cattle Herds During Droughts by Dr.Karla Jenkins, Economic Strategies for Re-Stabilizing Herd Income by Brian Strauch-UNL Educator, Understanding Cumulative Forage Losses by Dr. Pat Reece- Prairie and Montane Ecosystems, and Temporary Fencing Alternatives After Fire by Scott Cotton and Jennifer Nixon- UNL Educators.
