University of Nebraska - Lincoln Animal Science Freshman Scholarships are awarded to incoming students. Scholastic performance and extracurricular activities in high school, especially those relative to animal science, are taken into consideration. Award recipients are selected during the spring of their senior year in high school and recieve the scholarship during their freshman year at the University.
