Value added products are the mainstay of many bee businesses. By adding additional ingredients, or by simply refining products found in the hive and marketing them, you can vastly increase the number of products that your beehives produce. In this learning series we will explore the vast array of value added products, how to make them, market them, and you may even leave this learning series with a special holiday gift!
On the second Saturday of every month, the learning series will teach education credits on topics from the Great Plains Master Beekeeping program. The learning series will provide knowledge gain on curriculum not covered in basic workshops and will expand on specific subjects. Learning series courses are two hours long and feature hands-on activities, lecture, and Q&A.
