The Long Live Women in Ag Conference will be held Aug. 8, in Blair, Neb. The event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Blair Marina, 550 Marina Drive.

The highlight of the event will be keynote speaker Amanda Radke. Radke is a fifth-generation rancher from Mitchell, SD. She has spent the last 15 years on the road fighting for agriculture, rural America and the western way of life.

“We are excited to be hosting this event for women in agriculture here in eastern Nebraska,” said Morgan Rhea, with Washington County Cattlemen. “Women in farming and agricultural-related fields are making moves in our industry. It is my hope that this conference will bring all sorts of women from different backgrounds together to learn how to run multi-generational family agricultural businesses. As well as learning how to advocate and educate for our industry.”

For more information about the event, contact Rhea at 319-331-2939. You can register for this event at https://cvent.me/bQ5lPk. The cost to attend is $35, dinner included. Participants are encouraged to register by Aug. 1, as space is limited.

This program is held in partnership with Washington County Cattlemen and Nebraska Women in Agriculture.
