This year’s festival features music of the land, the sea, and the sky. The Honor Band will present Curiale’s exuberant “Double Happiness,” Mackey’s beautiful “Sheltering Sky,” and Bennett’s charming “Down to the Sea in Ships.” The Wind Ensemble will follow with two traditional band classics: Copland’s “Outdoor Overture,” and Vaughan Williams’ “Sea Songs,” and the bands will combine forces in the cinematic blockbusters “Victory at Sea” and “The Cowboys.” It’s an experience not to be missed!
