The Honors Spring Strings Festival welcomes all grades of high school musicians. Students will work directly with UNL’s award winning string faculty including members of the Chiara String Quartet, Albany Records recording artist David Neely, Lincoln Symphony Principal Violist Clark Potter, cellist with the Trio Nuovo and Concordia String Trio Dr. Karen Becker, and EMI and Innova recording artist Dr. Hans Sturm. Students attending the festival will have the opportunity to perform in a string orchestra, receive chamber music coaching from members of the Chiara Quartet, and perform in solo master classes with the UNL string faculty.

With special guest conductor Steven Trinkle, conductor and music director of the Powder River Symphony.
