Value-added products are the mainstay of many bee businesses. By adding additional ingredients, or by simply refining products found in the hive and marketing them, you can vastly increase the number of products that your beehives produce. Getting into farmer’s markets and fairs may seem daunting at first, but with a good mentor and knowing how to reach out, you can put your product out at many different markets. There will also be a demo to show how to make some value-added products at this Learning Series event.

$10 for members of the Great Plains Master Beekeeping program.
$25 for non-members

Additional Public Info:
On the second Saturday of every month, the learning series will teach education credits on topics from the Great Plains Master Beekeeping program. The learning series will provide knowledge gain on curriculum not covered in basic workshops and will expand on specific subjects. Learning series courses are 2 hours long and feature hands-on activities, lecture, and Q&A.
