The Office of Graduate Studies is fully committed to the health and well-being of all University of Nebraska-Lincoln students and staff members. In a disease situation like COVID-19, the principle of social distancing is one of the main methods that can be used to help reduce the spread of the disease. Chancellor Ronnie Green has issued guidance that all UNL classes will move to ‘remote’ modes. To be consistent with that guidance, the Office of Graduate Studies will not provide in-person programs, including workshops for the remainder of the semester. We are going to continue to provide professional development opportunities for our graduate community electronically, and I would encourage you to watch for updates and additional resources in the Graduate Report. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Erin Omar or Lisa Rohde.

Trying to figure out what you want to do when you finish graduate school? This workshop will show you how to intentionally design your life and explore multiple options for your future. Using the five mindsets of design thinking, participants will learn how to build their way forward and tackle life’s most challenging problems.

This workshop will be offered face to face only due to the interactive nature of the programming. Online resources will be available for students who are unable to attend in person.
