The School of Art, Art History & Design is pleased to welcome Trevor Amery. Trevor will lead a sculpture discussion at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 28 in Richards Hall, Room 15.

The talk, which is free and open to the public.

Trevor Amery is a recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to Hungary, a Santo Foundation Individual Artist Award, and has had residencies at the Fountainhead, Arteles Creative Center and Teton Artlab. He represented the U.S. at the 2012 Kathmandu International Art Festival and has exhibited at such venues as Kiasma, the Skanzen Museum, MAMU Galerie, Moore College, and Gallery Protocol. He is currently exhibiting at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art and is an artist in residence at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, NE.

The Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture Series is underwritten by the Hixson-Lied Endowment, with additional support from other sources. The program brings notable artists, scholars and designers to the University of Nebraska; enhancing the education of our students and enriching the culture of the state by providing a way for the public to interact with luminaries in the fields of art, art history and design.
