UNL’s AWIS is hosting an informal morning with a stellar woman scientist, Bridget Stutchbury, distinguished research professor from York University in Toronto, Canada, at Pioneers Park Nature Center’s Chet Ager Building.

Stutchbury is accompanied by JoAnne Jackson, producer of the documentary film, The Messenger, which will premiere at the Mary Riepma Ross Theater on Friday, April 22.

We will have mist-nets open to capture and band birds. The nature center trails will be open so people can enjoy a spring morning on the prairie, and then share fruit, bagels, coffee and conversation with friends and colleagues.

Families are welcome!
