Hybrid Breeding: The Essentials workshop is set for Aug. 9-10 from 9 am to 3 pm each day in the Goodding Learning Center, 280 Plant Sciences Hall on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s East Campus. Blaine Johnson, agronomy and horticulture professor of practice, will be leading the workshop.

This workshop is designed to provide a view of the structure and essential components of a hybrid breeding program and to define basic hybrid breeding terminology.
