• The keynote speaker is Louise Emmanuelle Mabulo. Louise is a chef, farmer, and entrepreneur. She is the Founder of The Cacao Project, which cultivates resilient and climate-smart livelihoods, positioning farmers for sustainable success in her home country, the Philippines. Louise is a National Geographic Young Explorer, a featured honoree for Forbes Asia’s list ‘30 Under 30’, a Young Champion of the Earth under United Nations Environment Program, Young Activists Summit Laureate, an honoree of Tatler’s ‘Generation T’ and one of the World’s 50 Next Game-changing Producers listed by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

• Dr. Martha Durr will provide an update on climate planning in Nebraska. Dr. Durr holds her PHD in Soil Science and Climatology and serves as the Nebraska State Climatologist.



• Young climate advocates will share their knowledge and experiences.



Other Engaging Offerings:
• An exciting opportunity for attendees to participate in a world-building exercise, a cutting-edge method of envisioning creative solutions to the climate crisis.
• The Summit will feature presentations and discussions on renewable energy, new agricultural methods and sustainable business.
• A noon meal and other refreshments will be provided.
Who Is the Climate Summit for?
This event is open to young people between the ages of 15 and 25 as well as educators or adult sponsors who want to bring groups of students to participate in this experience.
