The Nebraska Statewide Arboretum will hold a free online Waterwise Plant Talk about caring for trees, yards and gardens in drought on February 15 from 12-1 p.m. CT on Zoom.

Drought has thankfully receded in the western part of the state, but here in eastern Nebraska, we are still contending with extremely dry conditions. NSA Green Infrastructure Coordinator Justin Evertson and NSA Horticulture Program Coordinator Bob Henrickson will offer advice and tips for how to best care for your trees, garden and yard during these dry times. There will also be time for participants to ask specific questions about challenges they are facing in their own yards.

This Waterwise Plant Talk is free and open to the public; registration is required.
