The excitement is building for the upcoming youth workshop! A youth science learning event, Robotics I is scheduled to be held in Nebraska City on November 5, 2011 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Kimmel Education and Research Center.
Participants can explore the world of robotics by designing a Lego® NXT robot to see and follow a line, go through a maze, or dance to a favorite song and more. This robotics workshop for grades 3-6 will enrich science and math education in a fun and exciting environment.
The cost is $50 per participant per workshop. Attendees need to bring a sack lunch to this science, engineering and technology workshop. It will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is being conducted by UNL Extension educator Deb Weitzenkamp.
