Join us for a Mothing Bioblitz! We will create an insect light trap to attract insects, including moths. Bring a flashlight and search for moths.

Extension Entomologist Kait Chapman will help visitors find moths, take pictures and submit their observations using iNaturalist, a website and app anyone can use to record their observations of plants and animals.

Part of National Moth Week, this event is presented by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and Nebraska Extension to discover and record the diversity of Nebraska’s moth species though citizen scientists.
