Come enjoy networking and BYC skill development with your colleagues and recent College of Law alumni! Donde Plowman, Executive Vice Chancellor of UNL, will present “Salary Negotiations” beginning at 5:00 p.m. for twenty minutes followed by ten minutes of time for questions. This is a fun, relaxed way to learn about professional skills that you’ll soon need and develop your networking in the legal community. A bit about our speaker: Prior to becoming the EVC, Donde Plowman was previously the James Jr. and Susan Stuart Dean of the College of Business Administration. Under Plowman’s leadership, millions of dollars in private donations were accumulated, which led to constructing an entirely new building for the College of Business and Administration. This leadership led Plowman to be named the Harlan J. Noddle Award for Distinguished Development Service. In April 2012, Plowman a well known scholar in the areas of leadership and organizational change, was featured in the Wall Street Journal. Her research publications have also been published in other well known journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Organizational Science, Leadership Quarterly, Decision Sciences, as well as several others.
