Prof. Brian Lepard and the Bahá’í Community present “Dawn of the Light.” In this 45 minute video, you’ll learn about the life of the Báb, one of the two twin prophets of the Bahá’í Faith (along with Bahá’u’lláh). October 2019 marks the two hundredth anniversary of the birth of the Báb, and Bahá’í communities around the world are celebrating the bicentenary of his birth. The film will also highlight the Báb’s and Bahá’u’lláh’s teachings about the unity of the human family and the equality of people of all races, ethnic groups, nationalities, and religions. It will explore how these teachings have motivated Baha’is as well as people of other faiths and beliefs to serve humanity and unify people from all walks of life. There will be a short discussion after the film and the Lincoln Bahá’í community will serve light refreshments.
This event is also sponsored by Multi-cultural Legal Society.
