The College of Law is committed to its Women’s Leadership Initiative – an initiative focused on providing women lawyers with the leadership training and professional network they need to successfully navigate the profession.
The initiative kicked off on March 3, 2017 with the first ever Women Leading in Law Business & Philanthropy Conference – an event in which 250+ gathered to hear from leading women in private practice, government, business, and nonprofit.
In its second year, the College hosted Accelerate 2018: Grow. Rise. Lead. – a collaborative conference with Ms. JD. This day-long conference was attended by students from across the country and was filled with panels, speakers, and mentoring opportunities for students.
On March 6, 2020, in collaboration with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business, the College of Law will host its 2nd Women Lead Conference - a conference focused on bringing together women who lead in law, business, government, and nonprofit in order to network, collaborate, and learn from each other.
