Professor Steve Vladeck, the A. Dalton Cross Professor in Law at the University of Texas School of Law, will lead a panel discussion covering Laws & Regulations in the time of COVID-19 and existing tools available to the executive branch to address a national emergency and a pandemic

Panelists include: Professor Eric Berger, Earl Dunlap Distinguished Professor of Law, who will discuss the Constitution and Pandemics; Associate Dean and Professor Anthony Schutz will cover the Aspects of State, Local or Federal regulation: The Nebraska Experience; Amanda C. Carter, Cline Williams Wright Johnson & Oldfather, L.L.P., will provide an example of specific COVID-19 legislation, the CARES Act.

The panel will be moderated by Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion and Cline Williams Professor of Citizenship Law, Anna Shavers.
