DH Afternoons is a forum dedicated to supporting and celebrating the digital humanities work of students, staff and faculty on campus. Join us to learn about the exciting advancements the DH community is making here at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Dr. Liz Lorang, associate professor in University Libraries, courtesy associate professor, English, and Dr. Leen-Kiat Soh, professor of computer science, present “Aida: Image Analysis for Archival Discovery.” UCARE students: Rachel Gordon, Megan Ekstrom, Riley Jhi and Sydney Baty follow and will present “George Eliot Archive.”

DH Afternoon consists of a 20-25 minute presentation from a student or Center for Digital Research in the Humanities (CDRH) staff member, followed by another 20-25 minute presentation by a CDRH faculty fellow or affiliate. There is time for group discussion following the talks.

This event is free and open to the public.
