Join the MRST program for a free screening of David Lowery’s 2021 film based on the 14th Century poem, _Sir Gawain and the Green Knight_. Lowery’s film has its own take on the legend, but invites interesting conversations between the modern world and the foundational poem. The talk back will consider the filmic elements of the adaptation as well as its medievalism. The film stars Dev Patel, with Alicia Vikander, Sean Harris, Joel Edgerton, and Sarita Choudhury.
