Rebecca Fischer, violinist of the acclaimed Chiara String Quartet, presents a recital of all unaccompanied violin music on September 10 in UNL’s Kimball Recital Hall. The program features “Kafka Songs” by Rome Prize-winning composer Lisa Bielawa, written for “singing violinist,” in which the performer sings and plays simultaneously. Ms. Fischer will also perform six of Telemann’s Fantasies for solo violin using a baroque bow.
