The UNL Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Tyler Goodrich White, gives the first performance of UNL Professor Eric Richards’s newly revised concert overture WIZOO! Violist Jonah Sirota of the Chiara String Quartet then joins the orchestra for the lyrical and intensely rhythmic Viola Concerto by Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer John Harbison. The concert concludes with the songful, stirring, and rarely heard Symphony No. 6 in D major of Czech master Antonin Dvorak.
