The UNL Glenn Korff School of Music is proud to present the 10th annual Celebration of American Song in honor of Sheldon Harnick.
As both a lyricist and a composer, Harnick wrote lyrics for twenty-nine Broadway musicals and has contributed over 200 songs to the great American songbook. UNL’s voice faculty, alumni and students will present live performances of Harnick’s songs, ranging from the rousing “If I were a rich man” and the poignant “Sunrise sunset” to the jubilation of “She loves me!” Coordinator of Musical Theatre Studies Alisa Belflower will serve as your host.
Tickets ($5 general admission, $3 students/seniors) are available at the door on the evening of the performance. Don’t miss this highly anticipated annual, one-night-only performance.
