The UNL Jazz Orchestra (Dr. Paul Haar, Director) and the UNL Big Band (Patrick Brown, director) will present MUSIC FROM UNL a concert of original works and arrangements for big band, by UNL students, faculty and alumni. This concert will take place Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Kimball Recital Hall. Composers and arrangers featured on this concert include: Dr. David von Kampen, Paul Krueger, Andrew Janak, Patrick Brown, Derek Molacek and others. Joining the UNLJO, as special guest, will be vocalist Jackie Allen.

The UNL Jazz Orchestra, directed by Paul Haar, is the university’s showcase jazz organization and one of the Glenn Korff School of Music’s most visible performing groups. UNL Big Band, directed by Patrick Brown, is a vital component of the UNL jazz curriculum.
