The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Cellobration is free and open to cellists of all ages. Cellobration is hosted by Dr. Karen Becker, professor of cello in the Glenn Korff School of Music.

This year’s event will feature guest cellist Ho Anthony Ahn, distinguished artist and cello teacher from Kansas City who played with the Kansas City Symphony for 20 years. Mr. Ahn will teach an orchestral excerpt class and give a masterclass for select Cellobration participants, in addition to being the featured soloist on the 3:30PM Cellobration Concert.

This exciting one-day event will take place in person at Kimball Recital Hall on the University of Nebraska Campus. Activities will also include cello warm-ups, Cellobration Cello Choir for all participants, and a final performance to include the UNL Cello Choir, guest artist and faculty performances, and the Cellobration Cello Choir!

Come join our day of Cellobrating! The event is free and open to all cellists, cello teachers, and cello enthusiasts who would simply like to observe!
