John Sorensen, Grace Abbott scholar, author and friend of the University, will present “Grace and Edith Abbott: Nebraska’s Social Justice Sisters.” Sorensen will explore the significance of the Abbott sisters and their lasting impact on the University, Lincoln and Nebraska.
The talk is the third installment in a series of 12 Nebraska Lectures in 2019, part of the university’s celebration of its 150th anniversary this year. The lectures will focus on unique aspects of Nebraska and the university.
