Learn the basics of entomology and putting together a 4-H insect collection, from a trained Entomologist. The session will include: introduction to entomology terms & common insect orders (ID), how to collect insects, specimen processing, storage and preparation, and hands-on entomology activities
Bring: a sack lunch & water bottle. Part of the class will be outside (weather permitting) so dress appropriately.
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
