For Ages: 10 & up; must have some basic sewing skills.
Come create a sleeping bag for your favorite doll or stuffed animal & a quick tote bag. You’ll learn how to measure & cut fabric to size, stitch seam allowances, backstitch, clip curves, trim corners & seams, slip stitch or overhand stitch, & topstitch.
Bring: For sleeping bag - 1 1/4 yards cotton flannel fabric (44-45” wide), 3/4 yard of 3/8” wide ribbon, & matching thread. Preshrink fabric.
For tote bag - 3/8 yard firm, durable fabric (44-45” wide such as denim, sailcloth, trigger or poplin), 3/8 yard lightweight cotton fabric for inner bag, & matching thread.
