Are you curious about taking your indoor climbing skills to the outdoor climbing spots, sometimes known as a crag? This is your chance to learn the tools to do just that. We’ll do three indoor sessions and then go on a weekend trip to South Dakota to practice your new skills outdoors.
Each session meets for two hours and will help you form a foundational understanding of building sport climbing anchors. Participants must possess a current Lead Climbing Skills Check from UNL Outdoor Adventures Center and should have at least one year of climbing experience.
Trip dates: April 12-14, 2024
*has three classroom sessions: 2/26, 3/2, and 3/9. Classes are from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Registration deadline is March, 25, 2024.
$150 for students/members
$200 for non-members
