In recent years, the Weyl fermion has drawn tremendous attention due to its interesting topological surface state. Theoretical prediction of time-reversal breaking system that holds the low energy band structure resembling the Weyl fermion in elementary particle physics has been reported. Then, the theoretical and experimental study of inversion symmetry breaking systems has been reported. Typical systems such as TaAs, Na3Bi are discussed as well as their corresponding transport signature – chiral anomaly induced negative longitudinal magnetic resistance (LMR). The new particle type II Weyl fermion that violate the Lorentz invariance is also discussed in the well-studied candidates: MoTe2 and WTe2. Finally, a proposal of studying the transport with circular polarized light to select the specific Weyl point is brought out. Possible new physics and new phenomenon are also discussed.
