This interactive session will provide an overview of the broad scope of potential research opportunities within NSRI’s Nuclear Programs that are applicable to engineering, physical sciences, and social sciences. Related research areas span the entire range of nuclear security issues, including deterrence policies, threat analysis, weapon materials and design, nuclear command and control, war gaming, planning and decision support, nonproliferation, nuclear detection and forensics, counter-terrorism, and education.

The session will be led by Dr. Christopher Yeaw, the Research Director for Nuclear Programs at NSRI. After the overview, Dr. Yeaw will lead an in-depth discussion based on faculty research interests and will be available for future one-on-one consultations.
