It features Umay, a young woman of Turkish descent, fighting for an independent and self-determined life in Germany against the resistance of her family. Her struggle initiates a dynamic, which results in a life-threatening situation.
This event is part of the College of Education & Human Sciences (CEHS) Germany Week. An initiative of the Germany Embassy, this week-long celebration focuses on immigration and its surrounding benefits and issues in the U.S. and Germany.
All events are free and open to the public for the week.
