Ditch the dating apps and be bold in 2024. Take a chance to organically discover new friends or possibly a date for Valentine’s Day.
Think speed dating - with a twist. In a fun and lively atmosphere, attendees will enjoy conversating with new individuals and possibly connect with a potential valentine or at least, make a friend or two.
FREE for all UNL students with Event Pass.

HOW IT WORKS:
Upon arrival, each attendee picks a colored wristband that indicates their aim for attending the mixer, including:
• just for fun
• make friends
• look for a Valentine
• and more!
Then the rounds of speed dating will begin. In 5-minute intervals, you will meet and talk to a variety of individuals. To break the ice and put everyone at ease, a list of set questions will be provided to help facilitate the conversations.
As this is not a traditional speed dating event, attendees will not be matched with others at the end of the night. Notecards and pens will be available for attendees to swap contact info, if they choose.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- No dress code, come dressed as you wish.
- There will be music entertainment and light refreshments.
- A prize drawing will happen at the end. (prize not yet announced)
